Old Almahue

--

Very small valley, just 300 acres producing wines since the Spanish colonial times.

The Azuda wheels were built in 1930. They allowed the development of the modern Almahue viticulture.

A big proportion of our oldest vineyards, were planted in 1945.

Almahue is known as the Chilean Carménère birthplace. We also grow hight quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Grenache.
